The problem we solve

Two risks. One platform.

Most safety software handles one environment. Your people move between two. SafetyConnect is built for both.

RISK ONE

On the road

Your field force drives more than anyone in the company. Service engineers, sales teams, and technicians log thousands of kilometres a month. Road incidents are the leading cause of workplace fatalities in most field organisations, and the hardest to see coming.

WHAT WE WATCH FOR
Distraction
Fatigue
Overspeeding
Harsh driving
RISK TWO

In the plant

Your plant floor runs on permits, procedures, and the discipline of a thousand small checks. Paper permits, missed inspections, untracked hazards, and forklift blind spots are where incidents begin, and where audit trails fall apart.

Why SafetyConnect

Why safety leaders choose SafetyConnect.

The only platform for both domains

Road safety and plant safety usually mean two vendors, two contracts, two dashboards. SafetyConnect is the only platform built for both, so your safety data lives in one place and your team learns one system.

Privacy built in, not bolted on

Business-hours capture by default. No camera or microphone access. Role-based visibility. We protect the people you are trying to keep safe, which is also what gets your field teams to actually adopt the app.

Live in days, not quarters

Mobile-first means deployment does not wait on hardware procurement or IT rollouts. Most customers are live on their first site within days, and see measurable ROI within three months.

Built in India with care and detail, ready for the world

Trusted by global enterprises across pharma, FMCG, manufacturing, and energy. Multilingual, multi-site, and methodology aware.

What customers tell us

In their words.

SafetyConnect offers a tested and effective road safety solution in digital format. Together with the evaluation package, which is also scalable, it is a building block for a comprehensive safety strategy.

Safety should never cost your people their privacy.

The fastest way to kill adoption is to make employees feel watched. We designed SafetyConnect the other way round. We capture what keeps people safe and nothing more, and we give you the flexibility to host data where your policies require.

Explore Trust & Security
Business-hours capture
Trips outside working hours are not recorded unless an employee opts in.
No camera or microphone
The driving app uses motion sensors only. It never accesses your camera, microphone, or messages.
Role-based visibility
Managers see their team, leaders see patterns, employees see themselves. No role sees more than it needs.
Flexible data residency
Hosted on AWS, with the flexibility to host your data where your security and compliance policies require.
FAQ

Questions safety leaders ask us first.

Do we have to buy all three suites?
No. The platform is modular. Most customers start with one suite, usually Driving Safety or Process Safety, and expand once they have seen the results. You pay for what you deploy.
How do you protect employee privacy?
The driving app captures data only during business hours by default, uses motion sensors rather than the camera or microphone, and limits visibility by role. We capture what keeps people safe and nothing more. This is also why field teams actually adopt the app rather than working around it.
Where is our data hosted?
SafetyConnect is hosted on AWS. We offer the flexibility to host your data where your security and compliance policies require. Talk to us about your specific residency needs and we will walk you through the options.
How long does deployment take?
Because the driving app is mobile-first, most customers are live on their first site within days. Process Safety and Forklift Safety deployments depend on the number of sites and, for forklifts, hardware installation, but a single site moves quickly. Most customers see measurable ROI within three months.
Does it work across multiple sites, languages, and countries?
Yes. SafetyConnect runs multi-site and multi-country deployments today, with the mobile apps available in several languages. Dashboards roll up by site, by region, and across the whole organisation.
What does the SafetyConnect Score actually measure?
It is a single, defensible safety metric calculated from behaviour signals such as distraction, fatigue, overspeeding, and harsh driving. It is designed to be explainable, so a manager and a driver can look at the same score and agree on what to improve.

The field force problem

Your most exposed employees are the ones you can see the least.

Service engineers, sales teams, and technicians spend the working day on the road, alone, in the highest-risk activity most companies ask of their people. Until something goes wrong, you have no visibility into how they drive.

On the road, alone

Field teams drive more kilometres than anyone in the company, often in their own vehicles, with no one alongside them.

Telematics shows dots, not behaviour

GPS tells you where a vehicle went. It does not tell you about the distraction, fatigue, or overspeeding that actually causes crashes.

You find out after the crash

With no behaviour data, the first real signal is the incident report. By then it is too late to coach the driver who needed it.

How it works

How SafetyConnect's driving safety software works.

No hardware and no dashcams. Three steps, running on the phone your team already carries.

Capabilities

Everything your safety team needs in one app.

A complete driving safety toolkit in one app, not separate tools your team has to stitch together.

Driving behaviour monitoring
AI-powered analysis of distraction, fatigue, harsh acceleration, harsh braking, overspeeding, and phone use, captured by phone sensors as the trip happens. No hardware required.
SafetyConnect Score
A single, defensible safety metric per driver and per team. Gamified leaderboards drive recognition for safe driving, not just penalties for unsafe driving.
Condition detection
Real-time detection of fatigue and drowsiness signals during a trip, so a tiring driver is alerted in the moment and the manager sees the risk building before it becomes an incident.
SOS
One-tap emergency alert from the driver app. Emergency contacts and admins are notified instantly with the driver’s last known location and trip context.
Incident & near-miss reporting
One-tap reporting from the driver app. Photos, location, witness details, and trip context attached automatically. Closure tracked in CAPA Tracking.
Audits & checklists
Configurable safety checklists for drivers in the field. Vehicle pre-trip inspections, customer site inspections, and JSAs, captured on mobile and audit-ready by design.
Contextual learning (LMS)
A learning management system that adapts to the driver, not a static video library. New joiners are onboarded with defensive-driving training, then receive learning matched to their own behaviour: a driver flagged for harsh braking gets the smooth-braking module. Short micro-learning videos are followed by quizzes, with every assignment tracked to closure.
Knowledge Centre
Driving SOPs, emergency protocols, safety policies, and reference documents, accessible offline on every driver’s phone. Update once, push to the whole team.
Broadcast
Real-time safety advisories to the driver app, weather alerts, route restrictions, policy changes, monsoon advisories, targeted by group, region, or shift.
Operations insights
Productivity reporting beyond safety: average time at customer locations, route efficiency, and idle time. The data your operations team has been asking for, in the platform your safety team owns.
MANAGED SAFETY SERVICES
Don't want to run this in-house? We'll run it with you.
Driver counselling, new-process adoption, management reporting, and program reviews, optional services for customers without a dedicated safety analytics team.

FAQ

Common questions on Driving Safety.

Do you require hardware in vehicles?
No. The driver app runs on the employee's existing smartphone and uses standard phone sensors. No dashcam, no in-vehicle hardware, no installation.
What's captured outside work hours?
Nothing, by default. Business-hours-only mode is on by default. The employee can opt in to record personal trips, but the organisation can disable personal-time capture entirely.
Will it work in low-connectivity areas?
Yes. Trips are captured offline and synced when the device is back online.
Can we adjust how sensitive the detection is?
The definition of an at-risk behaviour (ATB) event follows established safety norms, so your score stays consistent and defensible across teams. Within those norms we can tune the sensitivities to your organisation’s preferences, speed thresholds, harsh-braking g-force, and allowed phone use, by industry, geography, and shift.
How does coaching work?
Drivers see their own SafetyConnect Score and trip-level events in the app. Managers see group-level patterns and can route targeted coaching to specific drivers. Most customers run a weekly review cadence with their safety committee.

Plant safety challenges

Six things that make plant safety harder than it should be.

Your process safety team already knows the methodologies. What slows them down is how the work moves, across binders, inboxes, and spreadsheets that never quite line up.

Improper risk assessment

Risks get assessed in spreadsheets that nobody updates, with controls that nobody verifies. The HIRA, JSA, or HAZOP that sits in a folder is not the one the floor is following.

Inadequate incident reporting

Near-misses go unrecorded because reporting is a paper form on a desk somewhere. The serious incident you investigate next quarter started as a near-miss you never saw.

Human error

People skip a step under pressure, miss a checklist item on a long shift, or are not trained on the SOP that landed yesterday. Without a visible workflow, errors compound.

Emergency preparedness

Drills happen once a year and are not tied to the live risks on the floor. Roles, response times, and contacts live in binders that get out of date.

Compliance

Auditors arrive and your team spends a week reconstructing trails from email, signatures, and shift notes. Compliance becomes a manual exercise, not an outcome.

Poor communication

Permit issuers, area owners, contractors, and managers each have a different view of what was approved, who is doing what, and where the risk sits right now.

The modules

Five modules. One platform. Audit-ready by design.

One unified dashboard for the safety management workflows that run your plant. HAZOP, OPA, JSA, MOC and the rest of the practices sit on top of these five.

Forklift Safety

In-plant vehicle safety, without the guesswork.

Forklifts cause more in-plant injuries than almost any other equipment, and most safety teams have no real-time visibility into where, when, or why. SafetyConnect's Forklift Safety Suite maps every incident hotspot, scores every operator, and tracks every vehicle in real time.

Low Moderate Elevated Hotspot
The plant vehicle problem

Forklifts are the highest-incident equipment in most plants.

Roughly one in ten plant injuries involves a forklift, and the causes are remarkably consistent. Most plants have no real-time visibility into any of them.

Hidden hotspots

Incidents cluster at the same blind corners, congested intersections, and shift-change zones. The pattern sits in your data unread, invisible to the team that could act on it.

Unverified operators

A vehicle key in the wrong hands is the most common starting point for a serious incident. Most plants have no automatic check that the person at the wheel is trained and authorised.

No pre-trip discipline

The mandated daily safety check often becomes a tick-box on paper, when it happens at all. Defects find you the hard way, in the middle of a shift.

Behaviour you cannot see

Rash driving, harsh braking, overspeeding, and fatigue go unnoticed until a near-miss escalates. By the time it shows in an incident report, the chance to coach is gone.

Capabilities

Eleven capabilities. One in-plant vehicle platform.

In-vehicle hardware paired with the SafetyConnect Access app and a manager console. The two newest capabilities are highlighted below.

NEW IN THE ACCESS APP

Facial-recognition operator ID

Operators authenticate at the vehicle through the SafetyConnect Access app, with facial recognition that confirms the right person, with current training and authorisation, is at the wheel. Authentication status streams to the server in real time, so unauthorised starts never happen.

NEW IN THE ACCESS APP

Pre-trip safety check

The mandated daily safety check moves from paper to the operator’s phone, completed before the vehicle starts. Photo evidence, defect flagging, and shift-by-shift trail, so the check is enforced, recorded, and audit-ready.

Hotspot identification
Heatmap of incident-prone zones across your warehouse or plant. Identify dangerous intersections, blind spots, and congestion patterns, and act on them before they cause harm.
Operator scoring and coaching
Per-operator safety scores based on driving behaviour, near-miss involvement, and incident history. Score-driven coaching turns the bottom decile into safer operators over a shift cycle.
Live vehicle tracking
Real-time location of every forklift across every site. State indicators (Parked, Idle, Moving, Inactive). Find any vehicle in seconds.
Vehicle overview
Group-level view of your entire forklift inventory. Status, location, operator assignment, last maintenance, every detail your warehouse manager needs in one screen.
Utilisation analytics
Identify under-utilised and over-utilised forklifts per day, per shift, per zone. Right-size your forklift count, optimise operator allocation, and stop renting vehicles you don’t need.
Playback history
Replay any incident or near-miss. See exactly what happened, when, and where. Reconstruct events for investigations and use them in operator training.
Dashboards
Customisable dashboards for EHS, operations, and plant heads. Decisions on operator safety, equipment utilisation, and incident trends, grounded in current data.
Operator score report
Per-operator report card with score history, incident involvement, training completion, and recognition. The artefact your HR and safety committee already need at review time.
Audio and in-app alerts
Drivers get immediate audio and in-app alerts for overspeed, fatigue indicators, and unauthorised access attempts, so behaviour gets corrected in the moment, not at the next review.

FAQ

Common questions on Forklift Safety.

Do you require hardware on the forklifts?
Yes. Forklift Safety uses a small in-vehicle device for accurate location tracking and operator behaviour detection, unlike Driving Safety, which runs on smartphone sensors. The hardware is straightforward to install and is included in the deployment package.
Does it work with all forklift types?
Yes, counterbalance, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet trucks, and powered tugs. We've deployed across electric and IC forklifts, indoor and outdoor configurations.
How does hotspot mapping work?
The platform aggregates location data from all forklifts and overlays incident events (collisions, near-misses, harsh events, speed violations). Zones with elevated event density become hotspots, and you can drill into the underlying events to understand why.
Can we integrate with our WMS or ERP?
Yes. SAP, Oracle, and most major warehouse management systems integrate via standard APIs. Operator-level data syncs with HRIS for review cycles.
What about multi-site rollouts?
Standard. Most of our Forklift Safety customers run multi-plant or multi-warehouse deployments. Dashboards roll up by plant, by region, and by group.
Privacy & security

We collect only the data needed for safety insights. Driver scores, trip events, and risk patterns, not personal location histories, contacts, messages, or app usage.

04

Role-based access

Line managers see their team's data. Safety leaders see group-wide patterns. HR sees compliance metrics. Employees see their own scores and trends.

05

Recognition over surveillance

The SafetyConnect Score is designed to reward safe driving and surface top performers, not to punish. Gamified feedback and coaching are the default workflow.

Pricing

Three things drive your SafetyConnect price.

Most enterprise safety platforms hide pricing behind a sales gate. We don't list a number either, because the right number depends on three variables you can tell us in 30 seconds, but we'd rather show you the calculation than guess. Below: how pricing works, a working ROI calculator on your own numbers, and what every deployment includes.

How it works

Three things drive your pricing.

01

Modules

Driving Safety, the Process Safety modules (permits, observations, incidents, audits, actions), Forklift Safety, Safety Intelligence, or any combination. You pay for what you deploy.

02

Employees

Drivers for Driving Safety. Plant employees and contractors for Process Safety. Volume-based slabs.

03

Sites

Number of plants, depots, or operating locations. Larger footprints get better unit economics.

ROI calculator

What is the saving on your scenario?

Pick a product, enter your own numbers, and see the estimated annual impact. These figures estimate your savings, not the price of SafetyConnect.

YOUR DEPLOYMENT
ESTIMATED ANNUAL IMPACT
Road accidents avoided per year
Accident cost avoided
Estimated annual saving

Conservative estimates based on outcomes seen across SafetyConnect deployments. Your actual figures depend on your incident baseline, your industry, and your operating geography. This estimates your savings, not the price of the platform.

Beyond the platform

Services you can add to any deployment.

The platform is the tool. When you need more than software, these are available as part of your commercial package, all delivered by our own team.

Training

PSM fundamentals, HIRA and JSA, incident investigation, and audit readiness, run for your team by ours. Onboarding and admin training are included as standard; deeper methodology training is an add-on.

Managed services

For teams without dedicated analytics or admin bandwidth, we run the platform alongside you, with reporting, programme reviews, and adoption support, priced by scope.

Counselling

Behaviour change is what closes the last mile on safety. We counsel individuals and teams when the data shows someone needs more than a workflow, available as an ongoing engagement.

FAQ

Common questions on pricing.

Why don't you list prices on the page?
Pricing depends on the mix of products, employee count, and number of sites, so any single figure on a page would be misleading. The three drivers above show how it is built up, the calculator shows the value side, and a 30-minute call gives you a real number rather than a placeholder.
Is there a free trial?
No free trial in the traditional sense. We do run paid pilots, typically 60-90 days, one site or one driver group, to give your team a chance to validate the platform on a real deployment before scaling.
Can we add modules later?
Yes. The platform is modular. Most of our largest customers start with one product and expand over 6–12 months.
Are there setup fees?
A one-time implementation fee covers onboarding, integration setup, and initial training. The fee scales with complexity but is typically equal to 1–2 months of subscription.
What about contracts?
Annual is standard. Multi-year commitments unlock better pricing. Month-to-month is available for pilots.
Do you publish discounts for non-profits or SMBs?
We don't publish a non-profit rate, but we work with customers across budget ranges. Talk to us.

FAQ

Common questions before booking.

Is this a sales pitch?
No. It's a 30-minute product walkthrough led by someone who has deployed the platform. We aim to leave you with a clear understanding of fit, not to pressure you into a contract.
Will you push us through a long sales cycle afterwards?
We don't run drip campaigns. After the call, you'll get a follow-up email with the resources we promised. If you're not ready to move forward, that's fine.
Can I bring my IT or security team?
Yes. Multiple stakeholders are encouraged on a single call, or we can split the 30 minutes into a product walkthrough and a separate security walkthrough.
What if I'm just researching?
Pick "Exploring" as your primary interest. We'll tailor the call to your stage, and you'll leave with the resources you need to build an internal business case.
Our story

We help health and safety heads sleep at night.

SafetyConnect was founded inside IoT Research Labs in Hyderabad with a single belief: safety platforms should respect the people they're trying to protect. We build the operating system that covers both the road and the plant, on one platform, with one privacy standard, for industrial enterprises that take safety seriously.

How we started

From a research lab to global plant floors.

SafetyConnect started inside IoT Research Labs (IoTRL), a research-led product company building applied AI for industrial environments. The early bet: that the sensors in every employee's phone could capture more useful safety signal than the most expensive in-vehicle hardware, and that the right scoring system could shift driving behaviour without surveillance.

That bet became the Driving Safety. As enterprise customers asked us to extend the same operational discipline into their plants, the Process Safety Suite followed, permits, incidents, action tracking, and forklift safety, built mobile-first and methodology-aware.

Today SafetyConnect protects more than 100,000 employees across more than six countries, pharma, FMCG, manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, and we're still based out of Hyderabad, with a North American team in Lewes, Delaware.

What we do

One platform. Two safety domains.

01

Driving Safety

For your field force, service engineers, sales reps, technicians. AI-powered behaviour monitoring, the SafetyConnect Score, real-time risk alerts, and a manager dashboard.

02

Process Safety Suite

For your plants, operators, contractors, on-site teams. Digital permits, incident management, action tracking, forklift safety, and audit-ready workflows.

What we believe in

Twelve qualities. One way of working.

Adapted from the qualities of a human being taught by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, translated, with care, into the way we build software for the people who keep workplaces safe.

01

Sincerity

We say what we mean, especially about what we don't do.

Our product copy doesn't oversell. Our roadmap doesn't lie. Limitations are documented before strengths.

02

Humility

The safety leader on the floor knows more than we do.

Every product decision starts with a customer conversation, not a strategy memo. We update our thinking when the data does.

03

Gratitude

We remember the customers who took the first chance.

The companies that deployed us early, when we had no references and no certifications, are still our customers. We don't forget that, and we don't outgrow them.

04

Perseverance

Safety transformations take time. We stay.

We don't chase logo wins. The customers we deploy with are still our customers five years later, and we deploy because the work matters, not because the contract was signed.

05

Aspiration

Zero harm. Not as a slogan, as a benchmark.

The work is long, the gains are incremental, and the destination is non-negotiable. We measure against it knowing we'll fall short, and we get up tomorrow and try again.

06

Receptivity

Every incident teaches us something.

Customer success calls write part of our product roadmap. Customer postmortems shape our security practices. We listen to what the field tells us, and we let it change us.

07

Progress

Better every quarter. Boring is the goal.

We don't make showy releases. We make steady, compounding improvement that adds up to a platform that's measurably better than it was a year ago.

08

Courage

We say no to features that compromise privacy.

Surveillance use cases get a "no", even from large customers. We don't capture personal-time trips. We don't access the camera or microphone. The product reflects this on purpose.

09

Goodness

The person we protect matters more than the data we collect.

Every privacy decision starts here. Every product decision should pass this test. The employee on the road or the floor is the reason the platform exists.

10

Generosity

We share what works.

Methodologies, templates, frameworks, field notes. The industry gets better when we share what we've learned, and so do we.

11

Equanimity

We don't panic during incidents. That's the whole point.

Calm, structured, deliberate response, to safety events at customer sites and to service incidents on our own platform. Composure is operational.

12

Peace

EHS Heads should sleep at night.

This is the work. The platform exists in service of this one outcome. Everything else is a means.

Adapted, with respect and gratitude, from the qualities of a human being taught by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. Translated into our context as a working compass for how we build, sell, and support SafetyConnect.

Permit to Work

Permits, without the paperwork.

High-risk work, hot work, confined space, working at height, electrical isolation, lockout/tagout, is where most plant incidents happen, and where audit trails fall apart fastest. SafetyConnect's Permit-to-Work module digitizes every step, every approval, every signature.

Why digital PTW

Paper permits leave audit trails that don't survive scrutiny.

Almost every plant we work with starts with paper permits, a binder of forms, a clipboard at the gate, an approval signature scrawled in a hurry, a copy filed somewhere a quarterly audit might never find. When something goes wrong, the gap between what was supposed to happen and what's documented is where regulators and insurers look first.

Digital PTW closes that gap. Every permit, every approver, every signature, every photo, every gas-test reading, captured at the moment, in sequence, never reconstructed after the fact.

Capabilities

Every permit type. Every approval. One workflow.

Configurable permit types
Hot work, cold work, confined space, working at height, excavation, electrical isolation, lockout/tagout, line-breaking, and any custom permit your plant uses. Each with its own checklist, gas-test requirements, and PPE specification.
Multi-level approval workflows
Supervisor, safety officer, plant manager, contractor lead, vendor representative, every approver signs digitally, in sequence, with full timestamp and identity capture. No "signed by proxy."
Conflict detection
Adjacent permits, overlapping zones, simultaneous high-risk activities, flagged before the permit goes active. Stop unsafe combinations of work before they start.
Mobile-first capture
Field teams raise, sign, and close permits on their phone. Photos, gas-test readings, isolation tags, captured at the worksite, not after.
Time-bound validity
Every permit has a valid-from and valid-until time. Extensions require fresh approval. Expiry triggers automatic notifications and closure prompts.
Full audit trail
Every permit retained for the retention period your auditor needs. Searchable by date, location, contractor, permit type, or incident link. Export to PDF for external audits.
How it works

The PTW workflow, end to end.

STEP 01
Raise

Field team raises a permit on mobile. Selects type, scope, location, valid-from/until. Attaches photos and gas-test readings.

STEP 02
Approve

Approvers receive push notifications in sequence. Each reviews, optionally adds conditions, and signs digitally on their phone or desktop.

STEP 03
Execute

Permit goes active. Work proceeds. Time-bound expiry tracked. Conditions enforced. Adjacent-permit conflicts flagged in real time.

STEP 04
Close

Work complete. Field team closes the permit with site walk-back photos. Closure verified. Full record archived for audit.

FAQ

Common questions on Permit to Work.

Can we keep our existing permit forms?
Yes. We replicate your existing permit forms in the platform, same fields, same approval chain, same conditions, and then progressively digitise the friction points your teams complain about. You don't have to standardise before you start.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The mobile app captures permits offline and syncs when connectivity returns. Critical for plants with poor cellular coverage.
How does contractor management work?
Contractors can be issued limited-access accounts to raise permits on their work. Their permits are routed to your approvers; their data is segregated; their access expires when their contract ends.

Incident Management

From report to root cause to closure.

Most incident management software is a glorified form-filler, log it, file it, forget it. SafetyConnect's Incident Management module is built around investigation: capture in seconds, structured root-cause analysis, CAPA tracking that doesn't slip, and the analytics your safety committee actually uses.

The under-reporting problem

If reporting takes 20 minutes, no one reports.

Every safety leader we work with starts from the same place: their incident numbers are too low to be true. Workers know that filing a paper report means a meeting with the supervisor, a forty-field form, and a question chain that feels like blame. So they don't report.

The result: near-misses that should be teaching moments stay invisible. SafetyConnect's Incident Management module is built to make reporting frictionless, classification automatic, and investigation structured, so reports go up, blame goes down, and Bird's Pyramid gets thicker at the bottom.

Capabilities

Six capabilities. One closed loop.

Fast mobile reporting
Report an incident or near-miss in under 60 seconds. Photo capture, voice notes, GPS location, and witness tagging, all from the phone in your pocket.
Smart classification
Auto-classification by injury type, severity, location, and process. Lost-time injury, first-aid, near-miss, property damage, environmental, handled distinctly.
Structured investigation
Multi-level investigation workflow with 5-Why, fishbone, fault-tree, and bow-tie templates. Auto-route to the right investigator based on incident severity.
CAPA tracking
Corrective and preventive actions linked back to the originating incident. Owners assigned, deadlines enforced, closure verified. No CAPA falls through.
Trend analytics
Bird's pyramid, heatmaps by location and time, recurring root-cause analysis. Spot the patterns your monthly safety committee report should be flagging.
Regulatory reporting
Auto-generate reports for OSHA Form 300, OSH Code, country-specific labor authority filings. Audit-ready records in formats inspectors recognise.
How it works

The lifecycle of an incident, from first report to closed CAPA.

STEP 01

FAQ

Common questions on Incident Management.

Can workers report anonymously?
Yes. Anonymous reporting is configurable per customer. Most of our customers enable it for near-miss and hazard observation reports, it dramatically increases reporting volume.
Does it integrate with our existing systems?
Yes, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, HRIS systems, and most BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Standard APIs and pre-built connectors available.
How does it handle multi-language deployments?
The mobile app supports English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic out of the box. Custom languages added on Enterprise plans.

Observation Reporting

What your team sees on the floor, in the system.

Unsafe conditions and unsafe acts get noticed every shift. Most never reach the people who can fix them. SafetyConnect’s Observation Reporting gives anyone on site a mobile channel to capture what they see, with the workflow behind it to route, categorise, and close every observation.

Submit observation
Why it matters

The observation no one logged is next month’s incident.

Most plants have observation boxes that gather dust and observation forms that never make it past a supervisor’s desk. The result: the patterns your team is already noticing on the floor never reach the safety committee.

Observation Reporting makes that loop trivial. Anyone can log what they see in under a minute, with a photo and a location. The system routes it to an owner, classifies it, and tracks it through to closure on the same trail as your incidents and audits.

Capabilities

A complete observation workflow, on mobile.

Anyone can report
Workers, supervisors, and contractors all submit observations from the same mobile app, no admin login needed. Photo, location, and category capture in under a minute.
Auto-routed to an owner
Each observation is categorised and routed to the right area owner based on type and location. Nothing sits in an inbox without an assignee.
Linked to actions
Every observation that needs follow-up generates a CAPA entry tied to it, tracked through to closure with the rest of your action register.
Trends and patterns
Heatmaps by area, category, and shift show where observations cluster, the leading indicator of where your next incident will come from.
Recognition for reporters
Recognise the team members who report consistently. A reported observation is a near-incident avoided, and the system makes that visible.
Audit-ready by design
Full audit trail on every observation, with timestamps, owners, and closure evidence. Exportable in PDF for ISO 45001, OSH Code, and customer audit requirements.
FAQ

Common questions on Observation Reporting.

Can anyone on site report observations, including contractors?
Yes. The mobile app supports observation submission without an admin login, so workers, supervisors, and contractors can all log what they see. Submissions are tied to the area, not the user, so reporting stays low-friction.
How are observations different from incidents?
Observations capture unsafe conditions and unsafe acts before anything goes wrong. Incidents capture what actually happened, including near-misses. Both flow into the same action register, so follow-up looks the same regardless of source.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Observations can be drafted offline and sync the moment the device is back online.
Can we customise categories?
Yes. Observation categories, area definitions, and routing rules are configurable per plant and per shift.

Why centralise audits

Every audit you've ever done, searchable, in one place.

Internal audits, regulatory audits, customer audits, ISO surveillance audits, statutory inspections, each on its own template, in its own folder, with its own findings, on its own timeline. The result: when a new audit lands, your team spends half the time reconstructing context that already exists somewhere.

Audit Management centralizes all of it. One library of templates. One findings register. One action tracker. Multi-site rollups for organisations operating across plants and geographies.

Capabilities

Six capabilities. One audit operating system.

Template library
Pre-built templates for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA inspection, OSH Code, PSCI, EcoVadis, customer-specific audits, plus a public checklist library you can adapt. Build your own templates from scratch where you need to.
Audit scheduling
Plan internal audits across the year, assign auditors, set reminders, and avoid the calendar chaos of audit season. Automatic notifications for upcoming and overdue audits.
Mobile-first execution
Auditors walk the plant with their phone. Tick off checklist items, capture photos, mark findings, score sections, everything synced to the audit record in real time.
Findings management
Each finding linked to the relevant checklist item, classified by severity, assigned to an owner, with a deadline and verification step. Findings flow into CAPA Tracking automatically.
Scoring and benchmarking
Configurable scoring frameworks (compliance %, weighted scoring, pass/fail). Multi-site benchmarking, trend analysis, audit-to-audit progression tracking.
Audit-ready reporting
Export audit reports in the formats inspectors expect, PDF, structured data, regulatory templates. Compile multi-audit reports for ISO surveillance and customer reviews.
FAQ

Common questions on Audit Management.

Can we use our existing audit templates?
Yes. Bring your existing templates, Word, Excel, PDF, and we'll digitise them. Most customers come to us with 5–10 existing audit templates that need to live in one system.
How does this handle customer audits?
Customer audits (PSCI, EcoVadis, pharma customer audits, FMCG procurement audits) are first-class citizens. Pre-built templates, evidence libraries, and response history are available across your team.
Does it work for statutory audits in India?
Yes. OSH Code, Factories Act, Boilers Act, Environment (Protection) Act, pre-built templates available with checklists aligned to current statutory requirements.

Why actions matter

The single source of truth your safety committee actually trusts.

Safety committees fail not because findings aren't made, but because closure isn't tracked. Every audit produces actions. Every incident produces actions. Every hazard produces actions. By the time the committee meets monthly, the actions are scattered across five inboxes, three spreadsheets, and one person's memory.

CAPA Tracking is the connective tissue that makes the other four modules actually move the needle, by ensuring that what gets identified gets closed.

Capabilities

Capabilities built for closure, not for tracking.

Centralised register
Every action from every source, audits, incidents, hazards, HIRAs, permits, customer commitments, regulatory findings, in one register. No more "where was that action again?"
Source-linked
Each action linked back to the originating record. Click through from an action to the incident it came from. When you close the action, the source record's closure status updates too.
Owner accountability
Every action has one owner. Owners get reminders. Skip reminders get escalations. Reassignments require approval. No more "I thought you were doing that."
Automated escalation
Approaching deadlines trigger reminders. Overdue actions trigger escalation to the next level. Habitually overdue owners surface in management reports.
Closure verification
"Closed" requires verification, photo, signature, or check by a designated verifier. No marking your own homework. Verification creates the audit trail your safety committee needs.
Trend reporting
Closure rates by source, by owner, by site, by category, by month. Spot which area of your operation is generating actions faster than it's closing them.
FAQ

Common questions on CAPA Tracking.

Can actions be raised independently, not from another module?
Yes. Standalone actions are fully supported, a safety committee meeting decision, a management instruction, a customer commitment. Anything that needs an owner and a deadline can live in the register.
Does it integrate with our existing task management tools?
Yes, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Slack, ServiceNow, Jira, and most major work management platforms. Two-way sync so closure in either system updates the other.
How do we report on closure rates across sites?
Built-in dashboards show closure rates, average time-to-close, and overdue counts by site, region, owner, and source type. Custom reports configurable on Scale and Enterprise plans.

Safety Intelligence

Where your safety data meets AI.

An AI layer that unifies your safety data and turns it into dashboards, plain-language answers, and proactive flags. The trail your team would have spotted if it had the time, surfaced before the event, not after.

app.safetyconnect.io / intelligence
Which of our sites is most likely to have a serious incident this quarter?
SAFETY INTELLIGENCE
Plant 3 stands out. Forklift near-misses in Loading Bay 4 are up 3x this month, two hot-work permits there closed late, and the same crew logged the most fatigue-flagged trips. That combination preceded your last lost-time injury.
Recommended: hotspot inspection at Loading Bay 4, refresher for the Plant 3 crew, and a permit-discipline review with the shift supervisor.
What it is

One intelligent layer over all your safety data.

Safety Intelligence connects the safety data you already generate, across SafetyConnect and your existing systems, and turns it into clear dashboards, plain-language answers, and early warnings. No new data entry. No waiting on analysts.

All your data, unified

Modules, sites, and existing systems brought together in one place.

Answers in plain language

Ask a question the way you would ask a colleague, and get an answer.

Risk surfaced early

Patterns and anomalies flagged before they become incidents.

The problem

Safety data today leaves you blind.

The information exists. Getting a clear, timely picture out of it is the hard part.

Disconnected systems

Safety data sits in separate modules, sites, and spreadsheets that never quite line up.

Manual reporting

Pulling it together by hand is slow and error-prone, and the report is out of date the moment it lands.

Limited visibility

No single view of risk across all of your sites, so leadership only sees what makes it into a slide.

Late to risk

Problems surface after the event, when the cost of acting is already at its highest.

How it works

From scattered data to clear answers.

Inputs from everywhere your safety data lives, unified by the AI layer, returned as the things your team will actually use.

1

Connect

Link SafetyConnect and your existing systems, via API or simple data upload.

2

Unify

We bring the data together and keep it current, so the picture is always today’s, not last quarter’s.

3

Ask & act

Question it in plain language, see the flags, and act on what matters. Every action tracked to closure.

In practice

Ask it what keeps you up at night.

No dashboards to build, no queries to write. Ask the way you would ask a colleague.

“Where are our repeat observations going unclosed?”
“Which drivers are trending towards a serious incident?”
“What changed at the sites with the most near-misses?”
“Summarise this quarter’s leading indicators for the board.”
Where it applies

Built for the breadth of your safety operation.

One view across every domain your safety team owns, and every level of the organisation that needs to see it.

Across your safety domains
Driving safety
Process safety & permits
Incidents & near-misses
Audits & inspections
For everyone who owns safety
Group & corporate safety
See risk across every site and business at a glance.
Plant & site EHS
Act on what matters first, on the ground.
Leadership
A clear, current safety picture for the board.
Capabilities

Capabilities that turn into outcomes.

Unified safety view
One dashboard across sites, systems, and modules, with drill-downs to the underlying records.
Conversational access
Ask your safety data questions in plain language. Follow-ups work like a conversation, not a search box.
Proactive insights
Patterns, trends, and anomalies surfaced as early flags, tagged by sentiment so what needs attention finds you.
Seamless integration
Connect what you already have via API or simple upload. No replatforming, no waiting on IT.
The result

The point is to prevent the serious ones.

Every major accident leaves a trail of smaller signals behind it. Safety Intelligence exists to read that trail before the event, so your team can act on the few things that genuinely move the needle on fatalities and serious injuries.

FAQ

Common questions on Safety Intelligence.

Does it work if we only use one product?
Yes. It draws on whatever data you have. The more of the platform you use, across driving, process, and forklift safety, plus any existing systems you connect, the richer the cross-product insight becomes.
Can it connect to systems outside SafetyConnect?
Yes. EHS platforms, ERP, CRM, and asset management data come in via API or simple data upload. We unify them with SafetyConnect data into a single view.
Is our data used to train shared models?
No. Your data is yours. Safety Intelligence reasons over your own data within your tenant, and is not used to train models for other customers.
Can it replace our safety team?
No, and it is not meant to. It does the reading and correlating that is beyond human scale, so your team can spend their time on judgement and action rather than trawling through reports.
How does it decide what to recommend?
Recommendations are grounded in your records and the patterns it detects. Every recommendation links back to the observations, incidents, or audits it is based on, so your team can verify the reasoning.
